Aveda Annual Catwalk for Clean Water
#ICYMI - We had so much fun representing our salon at this year’s Catwalk for Water. It was our first time competing, and we want to share some pics of how it all went down! The whole event was designed around upcycled & recycled fashion in order to raise awareness and funds for clean water! Craig Stewart Salon is proud to partner with Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK) for the sixth year in a row, and aid them in their fight against water issues impacting our local regional community.
CRK is an environmental advocacy organization dedicated solely to protecting and restoring the Chattahoochee River Basin—drinking water source for nearly 4 million Georgians. As an Aveda concept salon, the environment is very important to us, and we see Earth Month as a time to embrace this mentality to the fullest. Our goal this year is to raise $3,000 for clean drinking water in Georgia! We are continuing our tradition of raffling off two baskets full of Aveda products and salon services, and this year we are adding a 3rd makeover basket featuring gifts from neighboring businesses in our Buckhead Court shopping center! A huge thank you to our generous neighbors: Thunderbolt Yoga, Buckhead Lash, & Solar Dimensions Tanning. Raffle tickets can be purchased at our salon front desk, or from our Crowdrise fundraising website! All proceeds will go directly to CRK, to benefit their efforts in providing clean drinking water here in Atlanta.
